We had enjoyed breakfast at the Winkiku Restaurant in the hotel yesterday and so we went back there again today. After breakfast, we finished packing and checked out. Reception had offered us a coutesy room where could sit and wait for our bus to the airport.
Annie waited in the coutesy room while Suzy, Paul and I walked to the lookout within the resort. This is a small hill in the middle of the ring of hotels from which you get a good view of Ayres Rock in the distance.
Security at the Conellan airport was tight. They claim to have very sensitive detection equipment because of a nearby US military establishment.
We landed on time in Sydney. Annie and Paul caught a taxi home whereas Suzy and I got a lift home with Steph. Cleo was very pleased to see us.
